Work While Staying on a Student Visa in Ireland
Well if you have obtained an Ireland student Visa on the Interim List of Eligible Programmes (ILEP) then your local immigration officer will endorse your passport with stamp number 2. Working hours for international students are 20 hours per week during the semester and 40 hours per week during semester breaks. And this permission to work lasts until your permission to stay in Ireland. If you have selected any of the courses on the list then you are not eligible to work part-time as your passport has stamp number 2A.
International students in Ireland can attain post-study work permits under a third-level graduate scheme. The undergraduates can attain work permits for 12 months while post-graduates can attain 12 months post-study work permits initially.
